St. Norbert Stays Perfect Against Lawrence, Wins Eighth Straight

APPLETON - St. Norbert College remained unbeaten in the Midwest Conference volleyball race with a four-set win over Lawrence University at Alexander Gym.

The Green Knights, now 18-7 overall and 7-0 in the MWC, won their eighth-straight match and improved to 50-0 all-time against the Vikings with a 22-25, 25-19, 25-10, 25-17 win. The Vikings fell to 12-13, 3-4.

St. Norbert hit .234 for the match, connecting on 57 kills with 18 errors in 167 attempts. Lauren Meehan totaled 15 kills, while Sam Jungbluth added 12 kills. Laura Ayello posted 52 assists. The Green Knights totaled 92 digs, with Catherine Guido registering 32 and Amy Perszyk 20.

Lawrence hit .096 for the match with 41 kills on 167 attempts with 25 errors. Melissa Schnettler had 13 kills, while Laura Aerts had 31 assists. Emma Kane had a team-high 19 digs.
