St. Norbert Bounced From NCAA Tournament by No. 2 UW-Oshkosh

OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College had its sixth NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Tournament appearance cut short by No. 2-ranked UW-Oshkosh in a three-set loss to the host Titans in the first round of the Midwest Regional at Kolf Sports Center.

The Green Knights had their season end at 24-10 following the 24-9, 25-8, 25-11 loss. Oshkosh improved to 36-2 with the win.

St. Norbert was tied 6-6 in the first set before Oshkosh went on a 13-1 run. The Titans led 10-2 in the second set and 15-3 in the third set to take control.

St. Norbert got four kills from Sarah Sulentic and two apiece from Mary Kate Manion, Sam Jungbluth and Tory Dohm. Laura Ayello had eight assists, and Catherine Guido had 12 digs.

Oshkosh hit a robust .462, with 52 kills in 91 attempts against 10 errors. Andrea Smith had 18 kills to lead the Titans.
