Green Knights Place 15th at NCAA Regional

WINNECONNE - St. Norbert College placed 15th at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Midwest Regional at Lake Breeze Golf Course.

The Green Knights compiled 483 points for a 15th-place finish out of 39 teams. North Central College won the meet with an impressive 21 points. UW-La Crosse was the runner-up with 105 points, and Washington University was third with 118 points. North Central's Michael Spain the regional champion with a time of 24:17 over the 8-kilometer course.

Jon O'Brien led St. Norbert with a 67th-place finish, registering a time of 26 minutes. Alex DeVillers was 68th with a time of 26:03, while John Barrett placed 96th with a time of 26:31. Aaron Roden finished with a time of 26:56 to finish 123rd, while Mackenzie Laska was 129th with a time of 27:05.

Seth Hawkins was 137th with a time of 27:10, and Benji Wetli was 174th with a time of 28:00.
