Bevy of First-Place Finishes Pace St. Norbert

SUPERIOR - St. Norbert College recorded five first-place finishes to highlight its participation at the unscored UW-Superior Border Battle.

Megan Domnick won the 600-meter run with a time of 1 minute 44.74 seconds. Amanda Whipple won the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2:17.78, and Erika Quinn won the 3,000-meter run with a jaunt of 11:34.06.

Marisa Trakanovich claimed the title in the 55-meter hurdles with a sprint of 9.13 seconds, and Lindsay Wiebe captured the high jump with a height cleared of 5 feet, 1 3/4 inches.

St. Norbert's 4x200-meter relay team finished second in a time of 1:53.09. Danielle Allen's third-place finish in the long jump with a leap of 16-6 1/2 was the Green Knights' only other top-three finish.
