LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -- St. Norbert College junior defensemen Nick Tabisz and junior goaltender B.J. O'Brien have been named first-team All-America selections by the American Hockey Coaches Association.

Tabisz is a first-team All-American for the second-consecutive year, while this is O'Brien's first All-America honor.

Entering Friday's NCAA Division III Frozen Four semifinal game against Oswego State, Tabisz has scored eight goals with 16 assists for 24 points in 28 games. Three of his goals have come on the power play, and Tabisz has taken only seven penalties this season.

O'Brien enters the weekend with a 23-2-3 record, posting a 1.58 goals against average and .924 save percentage in 28 games.
St. Norbert now has 21 hockey first-team All-America selections, and has had at least one for 13 consecutive years.

Gustavus Adolphus' David Martinson won the Sid Watson Award, which goes to the NCAA Division III Player of the Year.
