RIPON - St. Norbert College remained unbeaten in the Midwest Conference with a 3-0 win over Ripon College in a rain-shortened game at Tracy Field.

The Green Knights (12-5, 3-0 MWC) had the nightcap against the Red Hawks (7-9, 1-2) rained out. The game will be made up at a later date to be determined.

St. Norbert got the game's first run in the fourth inning when Stephanie Ortiz scored from second on a two-base throwing error. The Green Knights added two runs in the fifth on Brittany Narges' sacrifice fly and Ortiz's RBI single. The game was then called just as the sixth inning got underway.

Kayla Krueger improved to 6-0 with a one-hit shutout, walking one and striking out three. St. Norbert had four hits, with Ortiz going 2-for-3.
