Green Knights Win Wisconsin Lutheran Warrior Relays

MILWAUKEE - St. Norbert College won its first meet of the year with a strong showing at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Relays at Raabe Stadium.

St. Norbert piled up 233.5 points to handily outdistance runner-up Beloit College's 198 points.

The Green Knights swept the top three places in two events - the 400-meter dash and the 1-mile run. In the 400, Kelsey Timm (1:08.84), Andrea Bosman (1:09.83) and Sarah Albert (1:10.93) took the top spots. In the 1-mile run, Jenny Scherer (5:36.91), Amanda Whipple (5:46.02) and Kaylee Beck (6:06.94) finished in the top three, respectively.

Anne Mueller won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.04 seconds, and she also played third in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:12.81. Lindsay Wiebe won the high jump with a height of 5-1. Danielle Allen claimed the long jump and triple jump titles with leaps of 16-5 3/4 and 33-8, respectively.

St. Norbert won all four relays. The 4x100-meter relay (Mueller, Danielle Krause, Calli Nonnemacher, Emily Schudrowitz) won with a time of 52.44 seconds. The 4x400-meter relay (Megan Domnick, Allen, Nikki Swanson, Schudrowitz) won with a time of 4:34.14. The 800-meter sprint medley (Nonnemacher, Hope Kovala, Ashley Polomis, Erin McShea) won with a time of 2:04.79. The distance medley relay (Schudrowitz, Swanson, Domnick, Scherer) set a school record with a time of 13:04.55.

Nonnemacher added a second-place finish in the 100 with a time of 14.05 seconds. Taking third place in events were Domnick in the 200 (29.39), Krause in the pole vault (8-2 1/4) and Larson in the long jump (15-6 1/4).
