Green Knights Finish Fourth at Wisconsin Private Meet

WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College finished in fourth place at the Wisconsin Private College Meet hosted at Carroll University's Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights finished with 102 points. Carroll won the meet with 168 points, while Carthage College was second with 143 points. Ripon College was third with 127 points.

Dann Schneider set a school record to win the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.31 seconds. Jordan Gobert won the pole vault, clearing a height of 14 feet 5 1/4 inches, which was 6 inches higher than the runner-up.

St. Norbert swept the top three spots in the 10,000-meter run. Aaron Roden won in 34:49.03, while Kevin Gries was second at 35:15.99. Benji Wetli finished third in 35:43.71.

Mackenzie Laska finished second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 9:44.05. Jon O'Brien was third in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:10.32.

Two St. Norbert relays placed third. The 4x100-meter relay finished in 42.62 seconds, while the 4x400-meter relay ran a time of 3:29.41.
