Green Knights Compete at Wisconsin Twilight

MADISON - St. Norbert College's women's track and field team competed at the Wisconsin Twilight Invitational at the University of Wisconsin's McClimon Memorial Track. The meet was unscored.

Danielle Allen won the long jump with a leap of 17 feet 1 1/2 inches, topping Marquette's Alyssa Davis by nearly a half-foot. The Green Knights' 4x100-meter relay team also won its event, with Anne Mueller, Danille Krause, Calli Nonnemacher and Emily Schudrowitz completing the lap in 51.62 seconds.

Three other individuals had top-five finishes. Schudrowitz was second in the 400-meter dash in 57.42 seconds. Jenny Scherer was third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:22.34, and Katherine Larson was fifth in the long jump at 15-2 1/4.
