St. Norbert Wins Pair at Aurora Tournament
AURORA, Ill. - St. Norbert College got off to a good start with two wins in the Jim Coleman Memorial Tournament hosted by Aurora University.
The Green Knights topped Albion College 25-22, 25-19, 28-26 and North Park University 25-22, 25-13, 25-17. St. Norbert is the lone 2-0 team after the first day in the six-team tournament. The Green Knights (8-4) will face Judson University and Aurora University on the second day of the tournament.
Against Albion, Sarah Sulentic had 13 kills while Sam Jungbluth and Lauren Meehan each had 10 kills. Laura Ayello had 40 assists, while Amy Perszyk posted 11 digs.
Against North Park, Ayello had 24 assists with Catherine Guido totaling 11 digs. Sulentic had nine kills and Jungbluth added eight kills.
