St. Norbert Falls to UW-Platteville, Simpson
PLATTEVILLE - St. Norbert College dropped a pair of matches on the first day of the UW-Platteville Tournament held at Williams Fieldhouse.
St. Norbert fell to Platteville 25-20, 25-21, 25-23. Catherine Guido had 16 digs, while Laura Ayello had 25 assists. Sam Jungbluth and Danielle Remy each had six kills.
The Green Knights then lost to Simpson College by a 25-20, 25-20, 25-9 score. Guido had 13 digs and Jungbluth seven kills in the match.
St. Norbert, 10-6 on the season, will face No. 1-ranked UW-Oshkosh and Loras College on the second day of the tournament.
