Green Knights Place Third at Carthage Invitational
SOMERS - St. Norbert College registered a third-place team finish at the Carthage College Invitational held at the UW-Parkside Cross Country Course.
The Green Knights totaled 111 points to place third and finish ahead of UW-Oshkosh by 22 points. Wheaton College won the meet with a strong showing of 24 points, while North Central College was second with 42 points.
Jon O'Brien was St. Norbert's top finisher with a 12th-place showing in 27 minutes 13 seconds. Aaron Roden was 26th with a run of 27:50, while Mackenzie Laska was 29th with a time of 27:57.
John Barrett placed 34th with a time of 28:05, while Alex DeVillers was 39th with a time of 28:09 to complete St. Norbert's scorers. Benji Wetli was 56th with a time of 28:45 and Aaron Shoofs was 69th with a time of 29:13.
