St. Norbert Splits at UW-Whitewater Tournament
WHITEWATER - St. Norbert College split a pair of matches at the UW-Whitewater Tournament held Friday at Williams Center.
The Green Knights (19-8) lost to No. 8-ranked UW-Whitewater 25-17, 25-16, 25-15 before topping Coe Collegge 25-15, 25-20, 25-16.
In the win over Coe, St. Norbert was led by Sam Jungbluth's 10 kills, while Danielle Remy added eight kills and four blocks. Sarah Sulentic had eight kills and six blocks. Laura Ayello registered 30 assists, while Catherine Guido had 15 digs and Amy Perszyk 14 digs.
Against Whitewater, Ayello totaled 22 assists with 14 digs. Guido added 13 digs, while Lauren Meehan had seven kills.
St. Norbert will face Carroll University and Central (Iowa) College Saturday for its final two matches of the tournament.
