St. Norbert Finishes 2-2 at UW-Whitewater Tournament
WHITEWATER - St. Norbert College split a pair of matches to finish 2-2 at the UW-Whitewater Tournament at the Williams Center.
The Green Knights (20-9) topped Midwest Conference foe Carroll University in a non-conference match 25-21, 25-14, 25-20. St. Norbert then fell to Central (Iowa) College 25-16, 25-14, 25-23.
Against Carroll, Lauren Meehan registered a team-high 10 kills, while Danielle Remy added eight kills and three blocks. Catherine Guido had 17 digs, and Laura Ayello had 27 assists and 18 digs.
Ayello had 33 assists and 10 digs against Central, with Guido adding 11 digs. Remy had 10 kills and three blocks.
St. Norbert lost to eighth-ranked UW-Whitewater and beat Coe College on the first day of the tournament.
