Dan Lukes is in his 13th year as sports information director at St. Norbert College.

A member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), Lukes' 2000-2001 and 2004-2005 hockey media guides were judged Best in the Nation in Division B/C, while his 1999-2000 and 2002-03 hockey media guides was judged as having the best cover nationally in Division B/C. He also was a member of the Midwest Conference Championships Committee from 2000 to 2005, and was the interim chair of the league’s sports information directors during the 2006-07 school year.

Lukes arrived at St. Norbert College after a six-month stint in 1999 as a sports reporter at the Marquette Mining Journal in Marquette, Mich., the largest newspaper in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Lukes, an Algoma native, received a B.S. in journalism with a minor in political science in 1998 from UW-Oshkosh. During his undergraduate studies, Lukes was a student assistant in the sports information office. He also worked as a part-time sports reporter at the Oshkosh Northwestern.
