Tim Bald is in his fourth year as the St. Norbert athletics director. St. Norbert College's athletics department has captured 12 conference championships and secured 12 NCAA Tournament appearances during his tenure in De Pere.

Under Bald's supervision, St. Norbert's athletics program has enjoyed success throughout all sports. The Green Knights have never had a total conference winning percentage below 70 percent during a school year, and their overall winning percentage has never been below 61 percent in a year.

Bald, previously assistant athletics director for compliance at the University of Wisconsin, began his duties at St. Norbert College in July 2004. During his six-year stay in Madison, Bald went from being the only compliance officer in the athletic department to supervising a staff of three.

Bald was selected in May 2004 from a pool of about 30 applicants following a three-month national search. Bald's experience also includes eight years as football program coordinator at Iowa State University and then spent nearly four years as the Cyclones' compliance coordinator.

A 1980 graduate of Loras College (Iowa) with a bachelor's degree in business administration/marketing, Bald earned a master's degree in sports management from Western Illinois University in 1985. Bald is married to Dana and has three sons: Samuel, Matthew and Ryan. They reside in the Town of Lawrence.
