Beatus Vir by Antonio Vivaldi alternately swells with deep emotion and dances with lively Baroque richness.  The Chorale breaks into 8 part harmonies in some movements. Requiem by John Rutter is sure to please with its passion and rhythmic sophistication. Mack Wilberg contributes a new work, O Light of Life, which is filled with luscious harmonies that tease the soul and then release it. The concert includes a tribute to our personal saints, some living and some who've passed away.

Special Lenten Concert. The Requiem, op. 9, by Maurice Durufle was commissioned in 1947 by the French music publisher Durand and is written in memory of the composer's father. The work is for mixed choir with mezzo-soprano and baritone soloists accompanied by organ in the magnificent St. Norbert Abbey Church.

The Seven Last Words of Christ - Theodore DuBois

Ecumenical Palm Sunday Concert. Dubois' famous sacred cantata, composed in 1867, enjoys the distinction of being second only to Handel's Messiah in popularity, as judged by the number of performances presented over the years throughout the world. The text of the work, drawn from the Gospel of St. Matthew, relates the events surrounding the Seven Last Words as spoken by Jesus on the Cross.
