About Business Administration at St. Norbert College The business administration degree prepares students for project management, IT and business liaison relationships and global views of systems and process thinking in the corporate world. The Global Business concentration provides students extensive knowledge of the cultural issues involved when doing business in foreign countries, with significant training in a foreign language and a required semester overseas in a country where the students' chosen language is spoken. The accounting sequence results in a 4 year B.B.A. degree which prepares students to work in organizations such as service, banking and manufacturing. Why study business administration? The business administration discipline recognizes the General Education program as the basis for its particular curricula. Each business administration major and concentration supports the General Education program by helping students develop skills for effective communication, problem-solving and logical decision-making.
