Business Internship Course Credit
Students with a major in Business Administration, Accounting, or IBLAS at St. Norbert College may be able to take a course (BUAD 494 or ACCT 494) for four credits. Students must already have the job and must be working the required number of hours during the course period. Help with obtaining an internship can be obtained at
Career Services.
Internship for Credit Process:
Students wanting to obtain credit for their internship experience must be eligible to take the internship course and have permission to register for the course. Eligibility requirements and registration process information can be found in the
guidelines for academic credit form
. A completed
application along with required documentation must be submitted to the Director of Business Administration prior to registering for the Internship course. Once your application is approved, you will be given authority to register for BUAD 494 or ACCT 494. A
learning contract must be submitted to the instructor prior to the first class meeting date. A
performance evaluation form from the employer will be required by the date specified in the course syllabus.
