Professional Profile
Jim has had an extensive career in law enforcement. He has held positions as public safety officer, D.A.R.E instructor, lieutenant and commander.

Before assuming the St. Norbert College position, he was the commander of support services with the Ashwaubenon Department of Public Safety. Jim was a State of Wisconsin certified law enforcement officer, a State of Wisconsin emergency medical technician and a State of Wisconsin certified firefighter I & II. He also belongs to the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners and is a certified crime prevention specialist.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and a Master of Science in administrative science from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and has completed the FEMA National Incident Management System training.
