Alumni Profile: Krissy Behnke

Krissy Behnke, SNC class of ’02, utilized her communication degree from SNC to land a communicator’s dream job with a highly respected public relations agency.

From intern, to account assistant, to account executive, Krissy moved up the ranks at Leonard & Finco Public Relations.  Her main responsibilities include media relations, special event promotion and crisis management. Clients also utilize the firm’s expertise in creating and maintaining images and handling issues dealing with businesses and the community.

She works with a team of professionals that assist clients from Fortune 500s and other publicly-traded companies to small businesses to non-profits.  Krissy’s projects include image maintenance for the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, special event promotions for WG&R Furniture, media relations for the Lambeau Field Redevelopment and rebranding F&M Bank to Citizens Bank.

Krissy’s career at L&F also allows her to volunteer in the community.  She is active with the St. Norbert College Alumni Board, Northeast Wisconsin Public Relations Society of America Board, young professional groups in Green Bay and Appleton and is an alumnus of Leadership Green Bay, a Green Bay Chamber program.
