2005 Young Alumni Award Recipient
After graduating from St. Norbert College in 1999, Mike taught in Donaldsonville, Louisiana as part of the University of Notre Dame's ACE program. The ACE program enabled him to receive his Master's Degree in Education and a Certificate in Administration through University of Notre Dame.
Mike currently resides in Oak Lawn, Illinois, which is a southwest suburb of Chicago. He teaches computer programming and Theology and is a cross country and basketball coach at St. Rita of Cascia High School in Chicago. Mike also assists in the Advancement Office with grant writing and recruiting.
At SNC, Mike was involved in Campus Ministry, PEER Educators, and TKE. He was also the Ugly for Delta his senior year. He says, “To this day, many of best friends are the friends that I made at St. Norbert. I love the fact that it always feels like home anytime I step on the SNC campus.”
