Alumni Profile: Olivia Dart
The summer before starting college, Olivia Dart participated in a junior museum internship program at the Smithsonian Institute. At St. Norbert College, Olivia majored in Humanities and Fine Arts and worked at the college library. She also interned at the Neville Public Museum of Brown County. During her semester abroad in London, she interned at the Contemporary Medical Archives Centre in the Wellcome Library.
After graduating from St. Norbert in 1999, Olivia worked at the State Historical Society of Wisconsin and began graduate work in UW-Madison’s School of Library and Information Studies. She later moved back to De Pere and worked at SNC’s Todd Wehr Library. As Library Operations Assistant, she assisted in the library’s administrative office and managed the college’s archives.
Olivia finished her MLIS in 2006 while remaining employed at the St. Norbert College Library. She is currently an Assistant Archivist for the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay. There, she prepares sacramental records for microfilming, assists genealogical researchers, processes archival collections, and is responsible for accessioning the archive’s newly acquired materials. Additionally, she continues her work as Library Operations Assistant at St. Norbert College. |
