Jennifer Jirschele is currently employed as an Administrative Policy Advisor by the Department of Workforce Development (DWD) in Madison, Wis. In this role, Jenny is responsible for providing human resources related programming to DWD. Some of her duties include developing and administering employee training, workforce planning, transitioning employees through position reductions, disaster recovery and business resumption planning and employee recruitment.

Jenny also serves as DWD's Small Business Regulatory Coordinator. In this role she works as an ombudsman to small business owners to assist them with issues regarding DWD's programs and the state's administrative rules process.

In addition to her work at DWD, Jenny is actively involved with the annual Dane County Partners in Giving Campaign. The Partners in Giving Campaign is one of the largest employee driven workplace charitable drives in the country, and in 2005 the campaign raised nearly $2.8 million dollars through the generosity of almost 10,000 donors. Jenny was appointed to the Partners in Giving administrative board by the Department of Administration Secretary in 2004, and she co-chairs the campaign's training committee.

In the Madison community, Jenny serves on the Public Policy Committee of Madison MAGNET, a local young professionals organization, and she spent five years as a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters. She also regularly volunteers with Commonwealth Development, local colleges and technical colleges to provide job readiness training to students.
