Bob Krombach joined the real estate business community in April 2002 after spending 26 years in corporate America holding various sales and sales management positions. The majority of the time was spent in the OEM world of suppliers to the PC manufacturer industry. As the industry consolidated and manufacturing moved off shore positions in the Midwest were sharply curtailed. Rather then accept a lower position and be forced to relocate his family, Bob choose a different career path.

Under a sole proprietor corporate umbrella, he is currently selling both residential and commercial real estate as an independent contractor for the fastest growing real estate company in the United States—Baird & Warner, Chicagoland's largest real estate company. Operating out of Libertyville, Ill., coverage includes northern Cook, eastern McHenry and all of Lake County Illinois.

Bob is responsible for the development of the strategic operating plan, expense budgeting and P&L for his business and existence. Current commercial projects include leasing of vacant available office space and the sale of a tavern business and real estate. Residential activity includes a number of active buyers and various listings for sale. In addition, under a separate corporate identity, he owns and manages residential rental property.

Bob's daughter Kelly (St. Norbert '04) has decided to join him in the real estate business. She is licensed in Wisconsin and is working on her license for Illinois. Kelly will work the southern Wisconsin market as well as northern Illinois.
