Jason Muenster graduated from St. Norbert in 2001 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He is a Business Transaction Advisor with Cornerstone Business Services, Inc. and works out of their corporate office in Green Bay.

Cornerstone specializes in lower middle market mergers and acquisitions and high-end business brokerage. As a Business Transaction Advisor, Jason primarily facilitates the confidential sale of companies in various service industries valued between $1-10 million. While working with business owners looking to sell their companies, he develops a clear understanding of the client’s selling requirements and strategic objectives.

As part of his initial due diligence on prospective clients, Jason reviews their historical financial information and the current industry trends to determine an estimate of value for the company. Along with this valuation work, he and the rest of the Cornerstone team develop marketing materials and a strategic marketing plan as the company is prepared for sale.

When Jason begins confidentially marketing a company for sale he implements the marketing plan and has discussions with multiple buyer groups. The various buyer groups include high net worth individuals, synergistic or strategic buyers, and private equity groups. As discussions progress, he coordinates all conferences, site visits and negotiation sessions until an acceptable price and structure are reached between a buyer and the seller. Once an accepted offer is reached, he works with the buyers’ and sellers’ attorneys, accountants, lenders, title companies and government licensors to help ensure a smooth and timely closing. Jason successfully completed the sale of 6 companies in the past year.

Jason lives in Wrightstown with his wife. He stays active in various outdoor activities including hunting and golf and loves to cheer on the Packers, the Brewers and the Seymour Thunder.
