Alumni Profile: Maureen F. Pratt
Maureen is a Senior Corporate Communications Specialist with Bechtel Corporation in Washington, DC. As a member of Bechtel's global team, Maureen works to support the company’s reputation as the world's number one choice for engineering, construction, and project management. Maureen specializes in executive messaging and organizational communications.
Prior to joining Bechtel, Maureen spent four years as a Strategic Communications consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton specializing in digital and executive communications related to military family, wounded warrior, and veteran transition public policy for the Department of Defense. Maureen also spent seven years in the non-profit community in fundraising and communications roles. She worked as Development Director at the Alliance for School Choice and Communications Director at the Washington Legal Foundation. Within these organizations, Maureen was responsible managing relationships with donors, grant-writing, media relations and developing long-term fundraising strategies.
Maureen is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association and currently pursuing a PMP. At St. Norbert, Maureen was a member of CC Hams, Graphos, and the Student Government Association.
