Alumni Profile: Maureen F. Pratt
Maureen is a Strategic Communications consultant
on Booz Allen’s Strategy & Organization team in Washington, DC. She
specializes in military family and veteran public policy issues in the
Department of Defense. She currently leads strategic communications strategy
for the Department of Defense Yellow Ribbon Program. The mission of the Yellow
Ribbon Program is to promote the well-being and resiliency of National Guard
and Reserve service members, their families and communities, by connecting them
with resources throughout the deployment cycle.
Prior to joining Booz Allen, Maureen spent seven
years in the public policy community in fundraising and communications
roles. She worked as Development
Director at the Alliance for School Choice and Communications Director at the
Washington Legal Foundation. Within these organizations, Maureen was
responsible managing relationships with donors, grant-writing, media relations
and developing long-term fundraising strategies.
Maureen
is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the
Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association and currently pursuing
a PMP.
At St. Norbert, Maureen was a member
of CC Hams, Graphos, and the Student Government Association.
