Alumni Profile: Vince Vitrano
Vince Vitrano graduated from St. Norbert College in 1996 with a degree in communications. He is a television news anchor and reporter with the NBC affiliated station in Milwaukee, Wis.
He joined WTMJ-TV as a reporter in 2000, and has since been promoted to anchor of “Live at Daybreak,” the station’s morning news program. Vince’s reports for Today’s TMJ4 have earned awards over the years from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, the Associated Press of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Press Club.
Vince began his broadcasting career at WFRV-TV, the CBS owned station in Green Bay, Wis. Through the help of the career services department at St. Norbert, Vince secured an internship with the station in the fall of his senior year. After two months, he was hired as a weekend producer.
Vince went on to spend more than four years at the station as a producer, reporter and anchor before moving home to the Milwaukee area.
