Alumni Profile: Leo Wisniewski
Leo Wisniewski graduated in 1983 and began his 20+ year career in technology and management consulting. During his work in the corporate world, Leo worked for US Bank, Philip Morris/Miller Brewing, PricewaterhouseCoopers and eLoyalty. Leo experience includes a wide range of areas from programming, technical architecture design/implementation, development of business/technology strategies, large-scale project management and executive account management.
In 2002, Leo decided it was time to leave the corporate world to begin taking control of his career by having his own portfolio of businesses. Leo is now the owner of three businesses—commercial real estate, Great Clips haircut salons and Owner of The Entrepreneur's Source in Naperville, Ill.
The majority of Leo's time is spent coaching clients through exploring options for having their own business. Leo's primary focus is helping people explore franchise businesses. He currently works with 200+ different franchises in 75+ different industries. Each client engagement starts with the development of a comprehensive profile which documents the client's background, their desired business attributes as well as their overall goals for business ownership.
Using the profile as a road map, Leo determines specific businesses that meet the client's goals and desired attributes. Once the businesses are presented to a client, Leo coaches his clients through each step of the validation process to ensure that the client has the best chance of being successful in their selected business.
Leo is also the host of a weekly radio talk show called Livin' The Dream. The show can be heard on the internet live or via archived programs. Livin' The Dream airs live each Tuesday at noon (CT).
Leo is also a member of the Romeoville, Ill. Chamber of Commerce and is the president of the Bolingbrook, Ill. chapter of Business Network International (BNI).
