Alumni Profile: Lora Zimmer
An SNC graduate of the class of 2000, Lora majored in English and minored in Communications and Sociology and graduated summa cum laude.
Currently, Lora is a litigator who focuses her practice on commercial insurance coverage matters and health care law.
A former assistant district attorney, Lora is experienced in handling both civil and criminal litigation, and has tried both bench and jury trials. Additionally, she has prepared and argued motions, drafted legal briefs and negotiated settlements in hundreds of criminal and civil cases.
She joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP in February 2005. Previously she was an Assistant District Attorney with the Outagamie County District Attorney's Office in Appleton, where she represented the State of Wisconsin in felony, misdemeanor and civil forfeiture matters.
While in law school, she was a summer associate with the Milwaukee office of Foley & Lardner and also served an internship with the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office in Syracuse, New York.
During her undergraduate studies, Lora was a tutor for The Write Place Tutoring Center, and was a faculty assistant in the English Department.
She is a member of the Wisconsin State Bar Association and the Outagamie County Bar Association
