Volunteer
St. Norbert College Alumni are one of our most valued resources in assisting current students and fellow alumni. We truly value your experience and expertise as we respect the importance of professional experience. The following is a list of opportunities to stay connected with St. Norbert College by assisting current students or alumni. Thank you for supporting the St. Norbert College Community!
Alumni Profiles The Alumni Profile database project highlights the experience of our alumni. These rich, but brief summaries are a unique way for prospective and current students to envision what they can do with a degree from St. Norbert College. If you are interested in submitting your profile to be included on this site, please e-mail Mandy Nycz a short profile similar to the ones currently on the website. Information may include current residency, job description, other education (graduate school), former involvement at SNC as a student. Please include in your e-mail 1) your profile/bio (written in third person), 2) a picture of yourself (as a JPG file), 3) your graduation year, 4) title your current area / position, and 5) your SNC Major/Minor(s).
Career Mentor Program The Career Mentor Program provides opportunities for students and alumni to interact with professionals from career fields in which they have an interest. As a career mentor, students and alumni will contact you via e-mail for information that will help them make decisions about majors, career fields and strategies for finding employment, internships or gaining admission to graduate/professional school. Your role then is simply to answer questions based on your knowledge and experience. By registering as a career mentor, you will also have opportunities to volunteer for mock interviews, networking events, panels and workshops.
Mock Interview Relay for Teachers (MIRT) MIRT a time-honored tradition at St. Norbert College and is an opportunity for teacher candidates to gain confidence with interviewing and networking with school administrators. MIRT provides a valuable experience for senior teacher education candidates, but also the opportunity for administrators to meet the newest members of the professional teaching community. We welcome the return of St. Norbert alumni serving as teachers or administrators to serve as interviewers for this event.
St. Norbert College Alumni Connect Join the St. Norbert College Alumni Facebook and LinkedIn Groups as another way to connect with current students and alumni. This is a great way to connect and to provide career assistance to St. Norbert students and alumni.
