Resources for the Campus Community
In partnership with St. Norbert College faculty, staff and administration, Career Services complements students' liberal arts education by supporting and promoting the College vision and the Norbertine tradition. We serve as a resource by helping campus constituents understand the value of the liberal arts degree and its connection to opportunities in the world beyond campus.
Career Services Program Partnerships
The St. Norbert College Career Services Office invites you to partner with us in providing relevant career development-oriented programming for our current students. By partnering in such opportunities, you help students better understand the value of their liberal arts education and how it fits into the world around them.
Why partner with us?
It truly does take a village to raise a child. Similarly, it takes an active and dedicated partnership composed of Career Services staff members, current students, faculty and staff, alumni, and professional partners to provide a nurturing career foundation for St. Norbert's undergraduates and graduates.
How can you partner with us?
Whether resident assistant, student leader, staff or faculty member, we ask you to be aware of the career development needs of those students with whom you come into contact. As you hear them express needs and concerns, consider whether a Career Services' program might be beneficial. We would love to partner with you to enrich the learning environment and career goal development for students.
If interested in partnering with us, please contact us via our main line (920-403-3040) or e-mail (
careers@snc.edu).
Guide to Campus Partnerships
Faculty Resources:
Encourage your students to do research on their chosen career field. Our web site offers many tools for
self assessment,
career awareness and
career exploration. Students may also participate in our
workshops and one-on-one counseling sessions. If a student is confused or undecided about a major, he or she can
learn more about majors on our web site. The Quick Links on the right also provide a list of helpful resources to use when working with students.
Students should try to be involved in part-time and summer jobs, volunteer experiences, campus activities and internships that are related to their interests. Career Services will guide students through every step of the process.
