Professional profile
Amy is a junior who will be graduating in May 2014 and is
majoring in Accounting. She started in
the Career Services Office as the Research Fellow in Fall 2010 and loved her
job so much that she now works as a Peer Mentor. She is eager to help her peers get internship
and job offers by improving their resumes and cover letters, as well as get
students excited about Career Services events.
Amy enjoys being busy, which means she is very involved on
and off campus. She is currently a
member of Enactus, Student Government Association, National Residence Hall
Honorary, and Accounting Club. Off
campus, Amy volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and works at Landmark Real
Estate and Development. She just came
back from studying abroad in Florence, Italy and loves telling anyone who will
listen all about her experience.
In the future, Amy plans on working full-time in the
accounting field and will be taking the C.P.A Exam. Ultimately, she hopes to gain a job in higher
education and work at a college.
