Intern Profile: Sam Baudhuin
I interned at the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce because it was a great opportunity to strengthen my writing abilities and gain experience in business and professional interaction on almost every level imaginable. I was able to practice writing in the Associated Press style, while receiving great feedback on my style and how to improve. At the Chamber, I was responsible for writing press releases and articles for the many publications and programs of the Chamber. I was also able to interview several members of the business community about their special roles in Chamber programs, and I was given two large projects that vastly improved my knowledge of the business community and those who lead it.
This internship has helped me better prepare for a future in public relations, while opening me up to several opportunities within the area. This internship has been a wonderful experience and has helped solidify my desire to remain in the public relations field, while educating me on the needed skills and talents.
