Intern Profile: Kerri Frake
I interned with the Green Bay Bullfrogs because it was a fun, exciting, and competitive environment. This was a great opportunity to showcase my written and verbal communication abilities, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
My internship responsibilities included writing all game-day scripts, interacting with crowds of anywhere from 1,200 to 1,800 fans, and organizing all props for promotional games. I was able to meet with PR professionals from varying Green Bay businesses and learn to work with the demands and needs of sponsors.
During this time I gained experience in various areas of both the Communication and Sporting Events industries. I learned more about how to take responsibility and manage deadlines. By using my interpersonal skills, as well as a strong work ethic and sense of dedication, I became better equipped to work in such a fast-paced, competitive industry.
I feel my internship has prepared me for my future and has helped me develop as a professional by teaching me that I can do anything I set my mind to!
