I knew I wanted to work on a
political campaign, and getting involved as an intern seemed the best way to
both gain experience and network for opportunities after graduation.
As an intern for the Feingold Senate
Committee I was given the responsibilities of: leading phone banks and
canvasses, making direct voter contact, researching various projects, and
learning the campaign databases. Through my tasks and responsibilities I have
gained valuable professional, political, and office experience that can be
translated into a number of different settings.
I know that participating in this
internship has helped me to clarify my career path, and has given me the tools
necessary to be successful after college.
