Intern Profile: Trish Orrico
I interned at the Green Bay Bullfrogs because I wanted to have professional experience that tied in with one of my interests: sports. This was a great opportunity to meet new people in the Green Bay area and network with sponsors of the organization, in addition to gaining experience in sports marketing. My internship responsibilities included writing game day scripts and creative sponsor advertisements for the P.A. announcer where I was able to expand my writing skills.
Through my internship I gained experience in public relations and learned how to present myself and my organization to the sponsors, co-workers, and fans I communicated with. By using previous sales and customer service skills, I also became better at problem solving when dealing with customers and sponsors. I feel my internship has prepared me for my future and has helped me develop as a professional because I had important responsibilities which greatly impacted the marketing efforts of the organization. |
