Intern Profile: Michael Zera

While studying abroad in London, I was an intern at The Church of England Newspaper.  Foundation of International Education, my study abroad program, placed me in what they thought was the best fit for me and my future career.  Although I do not see myself as a journalist in the future, my writing and communication skills have vastly improved and will help me in whatever career path I choose.      

As an intern at The Church of England Newspaper, I was primarily a writer for the website www.religiousintelligence.com.  My editor would send me news releases and I would compose news stories including the information provided as well as information through further research. In addition to the website, I conducted a survey of General Synod Members (The Church’s Parliament).  This survey received cover page status.
