The Accounting sequence, 32 credits (128 hours), results in a 4 year BBA degree which prepares students to work in organizations such as service, banking, and manufacturing.
In order to take the CPA exam and work as a Certified Public Accountant, students need 5.5 additional credits (22 hours). The Accounting sequence is structured so that students can complete the additional requirements by taking summer courses, 1 or 2 additional semesters, overload semesters (over 4 credits), or some combination.
