Environmental Policy (ENVP)

ENVP 100 Introduction to Environmental Issues and Policy
Survey of critical environmental issues and policy responses to those issues. Topics addressed include: population growth, natural resource use, global climate change, endangered species protection and others. Lecture and discussion. Course fulfills General Education Area 3 - Human Relationships. See Extended General Education Course Description.

ENVP 496 Independent Study

ENVP 494 Internship

ENVP 496 Senior Thesis
An internship in some organization that is actively involved in some form of research or practical involvement with environmental protection. The course will require that a Senior Thesis be written based on the integration of the internship with the theoretical works examined in the major. The internship and thesis are to be directed by a professor whose interests match those of the internship/thesis focus. This course is to serve as a unifying course to help integrate the various experiences and perspectives that the students are to be exposed to in the program.
