Environmental Policy Requirements

Environmental Policy Major (15 courses): The environmental policy major consists of a broad range of 15 courses including: one introductory environmental policy course (ENVP 100), two biology courses (BIOL 121 or BIOL 180, and BIOL 228), three chemistry courses (CHEM 105, CHEM 107, and ENVS 310), a statistics course (SSCI 224 or BUAD 285), two economics courses (ECON 102 and EC 350), two geography/geology courses (GEOG 120 or GEOL 107, and GEOL 225), three political science courses (POLI 130, POLI 346, and POLI 348), and an environmental policy internship (ENVP 494).

Environmental Policy Minor (8 courses): The environmental policy minor consists of 8 courses including: ENVP 100, two policy foundations courses (POLI 130 and ECON 102), one biology foundations course (BIOL 121 or BIOL 180), one geography/geology foundations course (GEOG 102 or GEOL 105), two advanced policy courses (ECON 350 and POLI 348), and one additional science course (BIOL 228, ENVS 310 or GEOL 225).
