Requirements for the Major:

Business Administration (10 courses)
BA 105 Financial Accounting
BA 142 Computer Applications in Business
BA 206 Managerial Accounting
BA 230 Foundations of Management
BA 262 Introduction to IBLAS (must be taken sophomore year)
BA 284 Statistics for Business and Economics
BA 350 Corporate Finance
BA 370 Marketing Concepts and Issues
BA 468 IBLAS Senior Seminar I
BA 469 IBLAS Senior Seminar II

Modern Foreign Languages (4 courses)
Four courses beyond the 203 level to include:
FR/GR/JA/SN 204 Intermediate Readings, Conversation and Composition
FR/GR/JA 375 Civilization/SN 375 Spanish or SN 385
Two Language Electives

International students should consult with the Director of the IBLAS Program in their freshman year to discuss their specific course requirements. Normally, they take four courses from the following list to become more familiar with the American culture. Alternatively, international students could choose a modern foreign language, different from their native language, and study abroad in a country where their target language is spoken.

One of the following two courses:
EN 235 Survey of United States Literature I or
EN 236 Survey of United States Literature II

One of the following two courses:
HS 116 History of the United States or
PO 130 United States Politics and Government 

Any two of the following courses:
DH 261 American Ideals and Identities
SC 235 Work in America
SC 265 American Culture
PL 260 American Philosophy
RS 221 Religion in America

Economics (2 courses)
EC 201 Principles of Macroeconomics
EC 202 Principles of Microeconomics

International Economics and Finance (1 course)
(may be an appropriate course taken during the semester of study abroad)

EC 370 Comparative Economic Systems
EC 375 Growth, Development and International Trade
EC 376 International Trade
EC 377 International Finance and Monetary Economics
BA 353 International Financial Management

International Studies (1 course)
IS 100 Introduction to International Studies (Also counts for GS 3)

Mathematics (1 course)

MT 124 A Survey of Calculus (Also counts for GS 8) or
MT 131 Calculus and Analytic Geometry I (Also counts for GS 8)

Political Science and History (2 courses)
PO 350 International Relations or
PO 355 International Organizations or an appropriate course overseas
HS An appropriate history course taken during the semester of overseas study
