For potential CCP students and their parents
Give yourself some credit...some college credit, that is.... while you're in high school.
As a high school student, you've probably been thinking about college. Maybe you're wondering what college classes are like. Will you be successful? Or maybe your want to give yourself a head start on your friends.
The St. Norbert College Credit Program (CCP) is a great opportunity for you to explore these questions. You can take college classes as a high school student to expose yourself to college course work, and to give yourself a competitive edge for minimal
costs.
Haven't decided where you are going to college? That's okay, credits from this program are transferable to a wide variety of institutions thanks to the College's reputation for academic excellence. Feel free to visit our
transfer credit acceptance page for a list of colleges and universities that readily accept these credits. Plus, showing initiative by taking advanced classes like these looks great on ALL college applications - especially as you're competing for a spot at the college of your choice.
Here's how it works:
Qualified teachers, specially selected and approved by St. Norbert College, teach the classes in english, mathematics, leadership studies, and U.S. history at
participating high schools in Northeast Wisconsin. The courses, 4 credits each, are the same courses designed for college students taking them at St. Norbert.
Assignments and academic expectations for the College Credit Program students are the same expectations that St. Norbert College professors have for their own students.
To learn more about the College Credit Program, plan to attend one of our
informational sessions or contact the College Credit Program office at (920) 403-4075 or
