What can I do with a degree in chemistry?
Approximately 75% of St. Norbert College chemistry majors go on to obtain advanced degrees. Students have pursued medical degrees at the Medical College of Wisconsin, University of Wisconsin, George Washington University and the University of Illinois. Additionally, numerous students have continued their chemistry studies in graduate programs such as Texas A & M University, North Dakota State University, Michigan University, Iowa State University, Purdue University and Northwestern University.
Graduates use their chemistry degrees to attain admission into professional programs including:
- Veterinary Medicine
- Optometry
- Chiropractic
- Pharmacy
A portion of our majors enter the workplace immediately upon completion of their undergraduate degrees at St. Norbert College. Many have found employment in the paper industry or in analytical laboratories. |
