Professional profile
Though I am an inorganic chemist by training, my area of research is within the field of photochemistry. Specifically, I design and create ligands that enhance the photochemistry of transition metal coordination compounds.
My research projects are interdisciplinary in nature as I combine organic and inorganic synthetic techniques for the creation of the complexes which are then analyzed by various spectroscopic instruments.
My current projects are designed as a collaboration between myself and chemistry students working together during the summer and throughout the academic year. |
