Classics Appreciation Week, April 20-29, 2011
Our sincerest gratitude goes out to "Friends of the Classics" David Thompson '11 and Michelle Morrison '11 for organizing three successful events on campus to heighten awareness of and interest in our Classical Studies Program. These events were: a showing of the 1960's film "The 300 Spartans"; a panel of professors (Bolin, Hyland, and Mann) who discussed their own "classical" journeys; and a Live Action Role-Playing "gladiator combat" participated in by many SNC students and observed by others and faculty as well. Once again, many thanks!
