Commencement 2017 will take place on Sunday, May 14th. The schedule of events for graduates, including important dates throughout the academic year, is below.

Preparing for Graduation and the Commencement Ceremony
September 26

Graduation Applications Due
All candidates for graduation who plan to participate in the May 2017 Commencement ceremony must complete the online application form. Watch for an email from the Registrar's Office in early September with more details.

Email or stop by the Registrar's Office with questions.
February 25 Graduation, Etc. - Cap and Gown Ordering Party
Your parents will also receive an invitation from the Office of Alumni & Parent Relations for this special pre-commencement event on campus. After placing your cap & gown order, you will have the opportunity to order other graduation commemoratives like rings, diploma frames and announcements. Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served, and college staff will be on hand to answer any questions about commencement weekend. There will also be prize drawings, special bookstore discounts and more!

Early March Commencement Information Packet Mailing 
If your parents do not attend the Graduation, Etc. party their information packet will be mailed the following week. If your family has moved recently please contact the Registrar's Office to update your permanent mailing address. Your diploma and commencement photo will also be mailed there in June.
Call 920-403-4034 if you need a packet mailed to another family member.
March 11 Final Deadline for Cap and Gown Ordering 
If you miss Graduation, Etc. you will need to stop by the Bookstore no later than Saturday, March 11 to complete your cap & gown order.

Baccalaureate Mass 
A festive celebration of music, word and sacrament. Most Reverend David L. Ricken, Bishop of Green Bay, will preside. All are welcome!

10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Commencement Brunch
The Commencement Brunch is open to all graduates, parents, guests, faculty members and administrators. All tickets are $14.25 including tax. Children 3 and under are free. Reservations are required and limited to 1100 guests. Tickets will be available through the SNC Ticket Office beginning Feb. 24, 2017.

Open seating beginning at noon.
Commencement Ceremony

The Procession
The Commencement procession will enter from the back of the seating area promptly at 1:30 p.m. in the following order:
  • ROTC Color Guard
  • Faculty
  • Masters (Graduates)
  • Seniors (Graduates)
  • St. Norbert College Trustees
  • Ceremony Participants

Graduates enter in the following order:
Master’s, BA, BBA, BM, BS and BSN

3:30 p.m. Commencement Reception
A reception will be held to honor all of our new St. Norbert College alumni following the Commencement ceremony.
Michels Commons
3:30-6:30 p.m. Gown Return
Gowns may be dropped off in the Sensenbrenner Conference Room inside Michels Commons or returned to the Bookstore anytime before 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. If you wish to keep your gown for photos later in the evening you have until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 16th to return it to the Bookstore.
