Commencement is the pinnacle of our students’ academic careers. Of course, none of our graduates achieve their college goals alone. We look forward to welcoming hundreds of family members and friends to campus each year to join in the celebration of our graduates’ achievements.

Welcome Families & Guests

Commencement weekend is a very special time for the newest graduates of St. Norbert College and their families. We thank you for your role in helping your graduate attain his or her diploma and we invite you to be a part of this special celebration.

The College has been authorized to move ahead with the renovation of Schuldes Sports Center and we anticipate construction will be well underway by May. Therefore, the decision has been made to move the Baccalaureate Mass and commencement ceremony outdoors. Both will be held on the quad west of the Campus Center and seating will be limited.

Tickets are not required, but due to the change in format and the fact that we have almost 500 students participating in the commencement exercises, we ask that each graduate's family restrict itself to five family members and/or friends in the outdoor seating area. Please impose this restriction yourself so all guests can enjoy the commencement ceremony. Thank you for your cooperation.

The ceremony will be streamed live online and throughout the campus. Additional guests will be accommodated in Walter Theatre in the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts, Fort Howard Theater in the F. K. Bemis International Center, and the first floor presentation room in the Miriam B. and James J. Mulva Library.
