Students are encouraged to participate in credit and not-for-credit internship experiences in order to learn more about the field and/or industry in which they are interested, to apply and test the theory they learned in their classes and to practice their communication skills in a professional environment.

Some of our students receive academic credit for on-campus academic internship experiences. For instance, the Office of Communications and the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations frequently support interns from communication and media studies.
