Location: Located on the banks of the Fox River in De Pere, Wis. People: 2,174 undergraduate students and 51 graduate students from 26 states and 35 foreign countries; 139 locally, nationally and internationally respected full-time faculty, 87% with Ph.D. or highest appropriate degree. Founded October 1898 by Abbot Bernard Pennings, a member of the Catholic Norbertine order of priests and brothers, as a school to prepare men for the priesthood.

Atmosphere: More than 74% of students live on campus in residence halls, apartments and townhouses. More than 73 registered student clubs and organizations (50% of students participating), 20 men’s and women’s NCAA Division III sports including nationally ranked hockey and football teams, and year-round intramural teams, 9 fraternities and sororities, 9 National Honor Society chapters, 2 student publications and 19 musical and performance ensembles.
Study abroad: Approximately 32 percent of each graduating class at St. Norbert College participates in study abroad for at least one semester, compared to less than 4% percent nationally. The Study Abroad office offers more than 75 study abroad opportunities in 36 countries on 6 continents.
Career services: Career services provides St. Norbert students the opportunity to interact with many people in the educational, business, and professional community. They offer workshops in job search skills and opportunities for career exploration through internships and other resources.
International students: St. Norbert is a recipient of the Paul Simon Award for excellence in international study. Known nationally for its internationalized campus, it is a welcoming atmosphere for its students from more than 35 countries around the world. Special English as a Second Language Institute programs are offered for international students through the Center for International Education. The program offers international students small classes, conversation partners, friendship families and personal tutors.
Graduate Students: Three master's degree programs are offered, Master of Theological Studies, Master of Science in Education and Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies.
Athletics: Approximately 25% of students participate in varsity sports. For men: baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, ice hockey, soccer, tennis, and track and field (indoor & outdoor). For women: basketball, cross-country, cheerleading, dance, golf, ice hockey, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field (indoor & outdoor), and volleyball.
Facilities: One campus houses all the classrooms, administrative buildings and residence halls, as well as the Ray Van Den Heuvel Family Campus Center, Bemis International Center, Bush Art Center, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts, Schuldes Sports Center, and the state-of-the-art Mulva Library. Accomodations: The Kress Inn, winner of the 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Platinum Hospitality Award from Choice Hotels International, Inc., is located on campus and owned and operated by St. Norbert College.
